Shots into house lead to arrest
MORGAN COUNTY – A Stover man has been arrested involving an incident of shots being fired through the walls of a house.
Last week deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) arrested Steven Plowman, 21, on charges stemming from the shooting on October 11 of this year.
According to the MCSD, reports came in of shots that were fired from outside through the walls of a residence on Ozark Heights Road An adult male in the residence was struck in the leg by one of the bullets and was taken to an area hospital for treatment and released the following day.
Plowman was charged with First Degree Assault, Armed Criminal Action, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond has been set at $500,000 cash or surety.
The MCSD said that this is a continuing investigation.
