Hunters tip leads to arrest
CAMDEN COUNTY – An Edwards man has been arrested on drug charges thanks to a tip
from hunters.
Camden County authorities received a call from citizens hunting in the Z road
area of the county, claiming to have located what they believed to be a
methamphetamine lab in the woods.
The Camden County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) and Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement
Group (LANEG) located a complete working lab in the area described by the
hunters, according to a sheriff’s department press release.

CCSO and LANEG executed a search warrant on a residence in the 100 block of
Terra Lane in Edwards Missouri.
Rex A. Moore 50, of Edwards, was taken into custody and charged with
Distribute/Deliver/Manufacture a controlled substance, a class B felony, and
possession of a controlled substance, a class C Felony.
Moore is currently being held in the Camden County Adult Detention Facility on a
$10,000 cash only bond.
