Officers receive awards

CAMDEN COUNTY – Five local officers recently received the Prosecutor’s Award for Excellence in Law Enforcement.

“In an effort to highlight the dedication, professionalism, and sophistication of our local law enforcement the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney would like to recognize the following officers for their outstanding performance,” a spokesman said.

Detective Jeremiah Burnett (Camden County Sheriff’s Department)
Detective Burnett is being recognized for his work in the investigation of sexual offenses. Detective Burnett routinely goes to extraordinary lengths to uncover all possible evidence in these often difficult cases.

Master Sergeant Christopher Daniels (Missouri State Highway Patrol—Water Patrol)
Master Sergeant Daniels was recently certified as an expert in marine accident reconstruction and his experience has proven vital in the prosecution of several cases involving collisions on the Lake of the Ozarks.

Ranger Tyler Roby (Missouri State Park Ranger)
Ranger Roby is being recognized for his extensive work in the Missouri State Parks. Ranger Roby’s commitment to keeping our State Parks free of crime has led to an exponential increase in the detection of felony cases involving controlled substances.

Officer David Stark (Linn Creek Police Department)
Officer Stark has long been known to be an dogged advocate for his community and he is being recognized for his unwavering dedication and excellent casework.
