One arrested on drug charges

CAMDEN COUNTY – A Sunrise Beach woman has found herself behind bars after a search warrant was executed in the middle of the night.

According to the Camden County Sheriff’s Department (CCSD) on March 2 at approximately 1:00 a.m., deputies from the CCSD and the Lake Area Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in Sunrise Beach.

Upon the completion of the search, Deborah Larson, 49, was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance. She was transported to the Camden County Jail.

According to court records, Larson was charged on March 2 with one count of Delivery Of Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams Or Less Of Marijuana Or Synthetic Cannabinoid and two counts of Possession Of Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams Or Less Of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid.

On March 7 Larson was also charged with Operating a Vehicle On Highway Without A Valid License - 1st Offense, from an incident on October 1, 2017.

The docket sheet stated that “Ticket was forwarded to the court from the Fine and Collection Center.”

She was being held on $5,000 cash only bond.
