22nd Annual Spring Harbor Hop set for May 4

LAKE OF THE OZARKS - The 22nd Annual Spring Harbor Hop has been set for May 4 and will be hosted by the Lake of the Ozarks Convention & Visitor Bureau.

The Spring Harbor Hop, traditionally, is held the first Saturday of May.

The Lake of the Ozarks Convention & Visitor Bureau sponsors the Spring Harbor Hop as well as the Fall Harbor Hop, held the second Saturday in October.

Other sponsors include the Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers Association and Waterfront Restaurants.

The Harbor Hop is a boating event in which participants “hop” to and from waterfront restaurants and marinas to draw playing cards to build a poker hand and become eligible to win prizes.

Players can start their hop and draw their first card at any of more than 40 sponsoring restaurants and marinas along the Lake’s main channel, the Big Niangua and Gravois arms.

“The Spring Harbor Hop is a great way to start the summer season. It is the perfect excuse to grab friends and family and head to the Lake,” states Tim Jacobsen, Executive Director for the Lake of the Ozarks Convention and Visitor Bureau. “The Spring Harbor Hop provides an opportunity visit new or proven waterfront establishments. We invite everyone to join the fun and enjoy our beautiful Lake by boat or by car.”

The hours for the hop are 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., except for some establishments that will open at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.

Those interested can go to for a full list of locations and hours.
