Four arrested in second drug bust in Miller County

MILLER COUNTY – The day after a drug investigation landed five people in jail the Miller County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) arrested four more people in another drug investigation.

The MCSD, along with the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force, arrested Jeffery Barlow, Abigail Haslag, and Scott Howell in conjunction with a drug investigation allegedly involving the distribution of methamphetamine.

According to the MCSD, on Thursday June 7, officers conducting the investigation witnessed suspected drug transactions taking place and made contact with the subjects involved.

Officers made arrest after searching and finding suspected methamphetamine.

Police also took Brian Stogsdill into custody during the drug investigation on several outstanding warrants.

Barlow is being held on a $75,000 bond for two counts of felony delivery of a controlled substance and has a no bond parole warrant.

Howell is being held on a $50,000 bond for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

Haslag is being held on a $25,000 bond for one count of felony possession of a controlled substance.

The Miller County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the following agencies and would like to thank them for their assistance: Cole County Sheriff's Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, ATF, Mustang Drug Task Force, and the Eldon Police Department.

“The Miller County Sheriff's Office has zero tolerance when it comes to drug use and is committed to helping fight the addiction and destruction of its causes,” A MCSD spokesman said. “If you have knowledge of criminal activity, please contact the Miller County Sheriff's Office.”
