One man arrested in drug search warrant
MORGAN COUNTY – Honesty is always the best policy but only time will tell if it helps a man arrested last week.
On Monday March 23, deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff’s office and members of the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at as residence in Morgan County related to Todd Coston.
Coston was at the scene when Law enforcement arrived and was taken into custody.
Once in custody, the Probable Cause Statement (PCS) filed with the court said Coston cooperated with law enforcement telling them where they need to look.
According to the PCS, Cotton told them he possessed methamphetamine, paraphernalia and firearms. He said the methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located in the top drawer and the firearms in the second drawer of a dresser in his bedroom.
He also admitted he is a convicted felon out of Texas.
The PCS listed the following items found in the dresser:
“Located in the top drawer of this dresser were numerous glass pipes with white crystal, containers with white crystal, spoons covered in white crystal, and digital scales. The total weight of white crystal seized was 10 grams and later tested positive for methamphetamine.” The sheriff’s office stated in the PCS. In addition, also found in the second drawer were:

He was taken to the Morgan County Jail and given a $100,000 Surety only bond.
The Sheriff’s office reminds people that these charges are allegations and Coston is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
