Free learn to Save a Life seminar
SUNRISE BEACH – The Sunrise Beach Police Department in partnership with the Rotary Club of Laurie-Sunrise Beach, the Rotary Club, along with the Rotary Action Group for Addiction Prevention (RAG AP), is offering a free “Learn to Save a Life” overdose-response training for the community.
This training teaches how to recognize an overdose and how to respond using easy-to-use medication and practical, life-saving knowledge anyone can use.
While this class is especially beneficial for restaurant and bar owners, managers and staff, it is open to the general public and encouraged for:
The event will take place on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lake of the Ozarks Board of Realtors – Realtor Hall, 123 Oddo Drive, Sunrise Beach, MO.
The event is free but pre-registration is required).
Those attending will learn:
“This is about education, prevention and saving lives through strong community partnerships,” a spokesman said.
