Girl injured in rollover

LAKE OF THE OZARKS – A 13-year-old girl from Lebanon was seriously injured in a utility vehicle accident on Sunday March 31.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) at 4:58 p.m. one-half mile south of 126 Kinderhook County Road in Miller County, a 2021 Honda Pioneer Utility vehicle was being driven north by the juvenile when the vehicle went off the right side of the road, overturned, ejecting the driver and a male passenger, Troy Bowlin, 35, of Lebanon, MO.

Both suffered serious injuries and were taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, MO, by ambulance. Neither was wearing a safety device.

Last Tuesday (April 2) a single-vehicle accident sent a Columbia, IL, man to the Hospital.

At 10:55 a.m., Dale Grogan, 74, of Columbia, IL, was driving a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox southbound on Route C south of Bridge A1952 in Miller County when he ran off the right side of the road, hit a chevron sign and came to rest in a ditch.

Grogan received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital. He was wearing a seat belt. The vehicle was totaled in the crash.

Last Saturday at 5:17 p.m., Jennifer Herron, 46, of Stafford, MO, was driving a 2021 Kawasaki Teryx downhill on Seals Road in Versailles when the vehicle overturned.

Herron had moderate injuries and was flown by MU Air Care to University Hospital. She was wearing a safety device. The Kawasaki had minor damage.
